Book #1: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

This book is great for kicking bad procrastination habits, specifically when it comes to creating. I was surprised to hear about how procrastination can take many forms, one being in the form of another seemingly important task! This is a dense read, so 100% focus and attention is needed!

Book #2: Influencer by Brittany Hennessy

I initially thought this book would be just about being an IG influencer. However, this book teaches valuable information on branding and business side of influencer marketing as well- two things that are VERY important when it comes to being a content creator.

Book #3: YouTube Secrets by Sean Cannell & Benji Travis

Video is taking over the world. It’s more digestible than blog posts and keeps audiences more engaged. YouTube is THE place if you’re a video creator. This book is chocked full of tried and true advice and best practices that are still relevant today.

BONUS Book #4: Passion Planner

Although the books listed above a great for learning about creating and optimizing online content, the info provided in these books would mean nothing if there isn’t any action behind them. One of best tools any creator NEEDS to have is a planner. This will be the hub of where all the content planning, to-do lists, and any notes will live. Personally, my brain is a bit scattered when it comes to creating content, but this planner keeps me streamlined and accountable for actually getting tasks done. I’ve been using this planner for 4 years now and it is a life saver.
